Three components for sustainable knowledge transfer
In four modules over two training days, we provide you with basic technical knowledge on the structure and organization of company hazardous substance management in combination with the use of the GeSi³ software.
Practical exercises and continuous technical support will further consolidate your knowledge.
Individual problems and questions will be discussed again in the follow-up session.

The training modules in detail
Safety data sheets from your suppliers are the basis for your hazardous substance management.
You learn:
- What you must observe as a downstream user under the REACH Regulation
- how you can easily fulfill your REACH obligations with GeSi³
- such as hazardous substances are classified and labeled according to GHS (GHS hazard classes)
- how to check the plausibility of your supplier safety data sheets with SDBcheck®
- how to automatically import your supplier safety data sheets into GeSi³ via SDBcheck
Hazardous substances must be listed in a company hazardous substance register with quantities and details of the work area.
You learn:
- Which substances must be listed in the hazardous substances register and with what information
- how to define your company structure as the basis for the hazardous substances register
- How to add hazardous substances to the register
- how you can present the hazardous substances directory on your intranet with links to safety data sheets and operating instructions
Legislation requires workplace-related operating instructions for hazardous substances, which are intended to inform employees about correct handling at the workplace.
You learn:
- How to create operating instructions in GeSi³ in just a few steps
- how to set up your standard company layout with logo and default settings
- how you can use group operating instructions sensibly
- how to version operating instructions and fulfill your retention period
- How to create hazardous substance labels with one click
GeSi³ supports you with various queries that allow you to obtain specific information, for example on updates, in a matter of seconds.
You learn:
- how to display the intended use, ingredients and limit values (AGW/BGW) of your hazardous substances
- how to determine tolerance and acceptance concentrations of carcinogenic substances
- how to add substances to the REACH candidate list and other relevant information (occupational health precautions, maternity protection relevant)
- how to check that your hazardous substances are up to date and send an update e-mail to the supplier if necessary
- how to use the dashboard of GeSi³ use
