The CLP Regulation or Regulation EC No. 1272/2008 is the legal European implementation of the GHS. CLP stands for the Classification, Labelling and Packaging of substances and mixtures. The Regulation controls under which conditions and from which concentrations hazardous substances must be classified and labelled, as well as the classification of mixtures based on the hazards arising from the ingredients. It also describes the ingredients and hazards which must be taken into consideration when labelling packaging. Sources: Regulation EC No. 1272/2008; https://echa.europa.eu/
