Nachdem ich <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gesi.de\/brand-und-explosionsgefahr-bei-gefahrstoffen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">im ersten Teil dieser Serie<\/a> auf Erkennbarkeit durch Einstufung, Kennzeichnung und weitere Quellen eingegangen bin, besch\u00e4ftige ich mich in diesem Beitrag mit Hinweisen in weiteren Sicherheitsdatenblatt-Abschnitten.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ma\u00dfnahmen zur Brandbek\u00e4mpfung und Schutzausr\u00fcstung<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Abschnitt 5 des Sicherheitsdatenblatts k\u00f6nnen auch Hinweise \u00fcber eine m\u00f6gliche Brand- \/ Explosionsgefahr zu finden sein. Insbesondere im Bereich \u201eGef\u00e4hrliche Verbrennungsprodukte\u201c k\u00f6nnen wichtige Hinweise zur Brand- und Explosionsgefahr stehen.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Abschnitt 8.2 finden Sie Hinweise, welche pers\u00f6nliche Schutzausr\u00fcstung und welche technischen Steuerungseinrichtungen sinnvoll sind. Auch hier k\u00f6nnen sich Hinweise \u00fcber die Brand- und Explosionsgefahr ergeben.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Umfangreich, aber n\u00fctzlich: Physikalische und chemische Eigenschaften<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Abschnitt 9 besch\u00e4ftigt sich mit der Angabe von bestimmten Eigenschaften und neuerdings auch Kenngr\u00f6\u00dfen, die bei der Einsch\u00e4tzung der Brand- und Explosionsgefahr sehr hilfreich sein k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Am einfachsten ist die Betrachtung von Explosionsgrenzen, wenn diese angegeben sind. Denn: Existieren Explosionsgrenzen, dann liegt logischerweise auch eine Brand-\/ Explosionsgefahr vor.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Auch der Flammpunkt in Zusammenhang mit dem Dampfdruck geben Hinweise auf die Brennbarkeit. Generell gilt: Wird der Flammpunkt angegeben, dann sind die Substanzen auch brennbar. Je niedriger der Flammpunkt ist und je h\u00f6her der Dampfdruck, desto gef\u00e4hrlicher ist der Stoff in Hinblick auf Brand- und Explosionsgefahr.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In den neuen Abschnitten 9.2.1 und 9.2.2 k\u00f6nnen auch weitere Hinweise zur Brennbarkeit und Explosionsf\u00e4higkeit gefunden werden, aber diese Abschnitte sind noch eher selten in Datenbl\u00e4ttern vorhanden.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">F\u00fcr eine detaillierte Erkl\u00e4rung, wie <strong>Brennbarkeit und Entz\u00fcndbarkeit<\/strong> definiert werden und wie sie praktisch bewertet werden, lesen Sie unseren Artikel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gesi.de\/brennbarkeit-und-entzuendbarkeit-anwendung-und-definition\/\">&#8220;Brennbarkeit und Entz\u00fcndbarkeit &#8211; Anwendung und Definition\u201c<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Abschnitt 10 gibt mit der Stabilit\u00e4t und Reaktivit\u00e4t des betrachteten Stoffs auch einen guten Anhaltspunkt. Beim Gefahrgut (Abschnitt 14) k\u00f6nnen die Gefahrzettel durch Flamme \/ Explosionssymbol auf diese Eigenschaften hinweisen.
