Complicated reporting format
The notification must comply with the exact legal and technical specification. There is an obligation to report the concentration of a formulation component within a defined range according to its hazardousness.
UFI management
A formulation is reported with a unique formulation identifier, the so-called UFI. The assignment of the UFI requires a systematic approach, especially if products are marketed under different names or external components (so-called MiM) are used.
Update
The product notification must be updated in the event of recipe changes, new findings and changes to the UFI of the external components contained (so-called MiM). This must be reliably recognized.
The solution
Generate the European product notification automatically
The product notification is created automatically on the basis of the information available for the creation of the safety data sheet and uses the existing multilingualism.
Performance features
- Generation of a unique mixture identification number (so-called UFI)
- The UFI is generated randomly; it is not possible to assign it twice. The UFI can be generated in such a way that no conclusions can be drawn about the detector.
- UFI Manager: Serial generation of UFIs on the basis of formulations or safety data sheets. Recipe groups are taken into account so that it is recognized which recipes belong to which safety data sheets. Different or identical UFIs can be assigned within a recipe group.
- UFI recording of external components (so-called MiM)
- UFI export for further processing in other systems
- Identification of ingredients of particular importance and other hazardous ingredients (important with regard to the accuracy of the formulation data)
- Product categorization according to EuPCS
- Serial generation of product notifications in PCN format according to Annex. VIII CLP REGULATION
- Serial generation of BfR product notifications for WRMG-relevant substances that do not require a PCN.
- Also suitable for service providers: generation of UFI and PCN messages for customers
